*Yearly registration fee is $39.

A Word About Tuition: What you pay is tuition. It is not calculated as an hourly fee for services rendered because teaching is much more than the time a teacher spends with your student. Tuition covers time spent with students, research and preparation time, teacher training and experience, professional organization memberships, professional journals, studio insurance and other expenses, property taxes, self-employment taxes, insurance, business licenses, retirement, continuing education, and certification costs.
2025/2026 Tuition
The studio offers the Monthly Payment Plan. Payment of your tuition for monthly payment is through paypal autopay. Payment is deducted on the 1st of each month. If there are any credit card issues, they must be resolved by the 5th of the month. Otherwise, a $25 late fee applies. After the 10th of the month, student attendance will be suspended until all fees are paid.
Cancellations:
There are no refunds extended once monthly payment has been made.
Please contact Ms. Moriak ASAP if you need to cancel. There are no make-ups for cancellations within 24 hours unless you are ill (in which case we will reschedule if you have missed more than 2 lessons in the semester, as I schedule at least 2 extra lessons for weekly students). In addition, during Studio Class weeks, you may schedule a make-up lesson.
60-minute biweekly lessons students: You may reschedule your lesson (with more than 48 hours notice) through the mymusicstaff student portal--you can sign up for an empty slot on the calendar. This is the only way to make up lessons cancelled with more than 48 hours notice (unless your child is ill). NOTE: I schedule at least 2 extra lessons per semester to account for student or teacher absences.
Books and Materials: Students are required to purchase instructional materials to use at home. Ms. Moriak will recommend music books that fit each student’s voice, age, and skill level. Most of the books can be purchased on amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, or halfpricebooks.com. Individual songs can be purchased at www.musicnotes.com.
Leave of Absence/Discontinuance: If you must miss lessons for more than one month but wish to continue as a student, you may choose from two options:
- Discontinue, then re-enroll upon your return. If you choose this option, re-enrollment is subject to availability.
- Reserve your class time by continuing to pay monthly tuition and committing to staying on track with assignments. Online lessons during the absence may be available to assist you.
The Calendar
Please note that Jodi Moriak Voice Studio follows the locals Westerville Public School system calendar which means when Westerville Public is closed, we are too! Some months may have 5 lessons, some may have 3. Tuition has been divided equally over the school year for your convenience, allowing for vacation and sick absences.

By registering yourself or as parent and legal guardian of the student named below, you affirm that you understand and hereby promise to be personally financial responsible for payment of tuition and further agree to support your child’s studies, encourage his/her practice and performance opportunities, and adhere to the above referenced Studio Policy for Jodi Moriak Voice Studio LLC. IMPORTANT!
Please be aware that I am a mother first, and sometimes I need to move lessons around according to my children's needs. If you are not willing to be flexible, please find a different studio! For the most part, we stick to the calendar, but life is unpredictable! The vibe in my studio is laid back and friendly. We are family here! AND we work hard.
